Does anyone know if trombones are allowed into Bobby Dodd?

Oct 16, 2020, 4:16 PM

I like to play mine at road games to distract the opposing team, but I have never taken it to Atlanta. I can make that Wah Wuh sound with it when a field goal plunks off the upright, the reaction I got up in Chapel Hill last year when I did this was priceless.

You can as long as you wear a mask with a hole in it and put a colostomy bag on your spit valve.

At least that’s what they told me when I called them about it.

A trombone is allowed. I've seen Tiger Band carry a bunch into Bobby Dodd in the past.

However, a big orange Tiger Paw flag on a flagpole isn't allowed. I got thrown out of Bobby Dodd in the past for waiving one around after we scored a TD.

I'm pretty sure they will not allow a flag on a pole in the stands at Death Valley either.

Yes, but no more than 76 are allowed.

Only vuvuzelas would be my guess.

They make good funnels too for tailgating.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

Some pretty good info...

“The trombone is a musical instrument in the brass family. As with all brass instruments, sound is produced when the player's vibrating lips (embouchure) cause the air column inside the instrument to vibrate.”
