short on Saturday's game was a prime example of why the Clemson Tigers look soft and out of sink this year? It starts from the top down, and because Dabo and kin don't have that killer instink and they let lesser teams of of the hook, we will never exercise our demons and be doomed to too be a 11 or 12 wins sesons, and medocrity for as long as he's "leading" our team.

Boyd stayed in the game even though the game was somewhat out of reach. Some fans questioned why the coaches still put him in the game.
I guess fans will always find whatever they want to complain about.
I like what Dabo decided. It helps keeping the players fresh for a short week, keeping them out of the hot day, and avoiding any injuries. One of the reasons we were able to contend for the national title last year is because our players were not banged up like many other teams.

No. The game was over. Strongly suspect the SC State Coach suggested the shortened QTRS. I think both Coaching staffs felt that they had more to lose (injury) than they had to gain (experience). We have bigger fish to fry and we're going to need everybody healthy to get the job done. Winning 90-0 really wouldn't matter, 59-0 is enough. Keeping our arsenal fully loaded is more important.

The game was essentially decided at the end of the first quarter. I also agree that we should stop scheduling SC State and teams that are not competitive.

I don't know about Sat I think that's was a good thing.
I don't like the way we play in the 4th with a big lead .
Sure put the backups in but let them play, not just let the other team do what they want until the game is over.

I'm pretty sure Dabo did it because he was worried the extra 6 minutes would allow SCSU time for a comeback.

would beating them by 73 or 80 prove that wasn't already? We don't lose to unranked teams anymore. It's the big games we've had to worry about the last few years. LAST YEAR we lost the NC last year by 5 points, to a team we really outplayed! I see your a liked member, so I ask, are you serious....or is this some really ambiguous sarcasm?
