Yes. And by so doing, they cuffed themselves. I'm not saying the right guy for the job is a white male, but when you eliminate half the population right off the top, especially for political reasons, your potential for finding the right person drops significantly.
Is the FSU athletic department in the business of politics? Or are they in the business of fielding great teams?
You hire the right person for the job. Period. Nothing else matters.

I thought we were judging people by the content of their character an not by the color of their skin. Perhaps, the question is who is THE best COACH (race unimportant) for FSU or any university or any job for that matter. Keep on stirring the racism pot!

Maria Taylor, is that you? She tip-toed around that talk when we benched KB for Trevor.. like we hadn't had a history of several black QBs we'd put in place over their white counterparts.
In any position, it should be who is most qualified, color should never be a deciding factor - and for the most part, it isn't.. regardless of those who try and use that as an excuse.
