Re: Photo sensor?

I guess it could be what you plug or screw a sensor to.

Is it an actual knob or is it a cover for wires? If it is a knob then it is for outdoor lighting I would think. I have seen similar on landscape lighting and also on pillars where people decide to attach a light (such as driveway entrance lights and so on.) If it is a potentiometer (an adjustable knob) then it is for something that is installed or was previously installed, which is most likely lighting. A wire tap could be for just about anything that someone may want/or thought about installing.

**edit** saw previous poster's message about a photocell. That is a possibility too. Didn't think of that.

It is threaded and has a cap on it .
It looks like you screw something to it
It's not a knob

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

It must be for the lights around the palmetto tree in the front yard .
I have the switch turned off to it
I will figure it out tomorrow right now I'm getting ready to take 2 Big thick ribeyes off the grill
