Does ETN deserve more than 3 carries in a tied game

with the opposing team playing 2 deep safeties trying not to give up the big play the entire 2nd half?

Should we have called 2 running plays in a row during the 2nd half? (We only ran the ball twice in a row 3 times during the entire game)

Even Dabo admitted that the Tiger running game wasn't working. Oline needs to be more explosive off the snap.

I wonder if the recent TOs (Drive stallers ) have made the coaches cautious. I agree though with Lynn J, at the bare minimum, should be the one running.

Run the ball, but the big uglies need to move that line.

It amazes me that our play caller is the rb coach yet one or two dud runs and he almost abandons the run.

ETN was getting nothing between the tackles. There is something to be said for passing to loosen up their linebsckers. But some crossing routes or pretty much anything except bubble screens. Jet sweep with ETN would have been nice to see too.

We do not for some reason try to get our backs to the edge. We run them up the middle and then use the QB to get on the edge.

I think the main reason we didn't see more run game in the second half is because almost every false start penalty took us from having a chance to run the ball on 3rd down to a certain passing situation.

I would say we lost at least 3 easy conversions to 3rd down penalties or a second down sack in the second half and probably more than that.
