FSU's coach should forfeit the game if calling it with FSU losing 1-13 would give them the title. It would be very poor sportsmanship to accept a title after being blown out.

And the correct answer is FSU (as I have understood the conversation) due to their higher seeding in the tourny.

I still believe that the more runs Clemson scores the less likely FSU will be announced as the winner. Even the ACC can see that ain't gonna work fire up the fax!

We may play until 2 am, but they will get this game completed. At least the requisite 5 innings.
BTW, if the Tar Heels were trailing 13-1 to Clemson, I would say there was almost a 100% certainty that the game WOULD be cancelled due to weather, LOL.
I don't think the ACC really has a particular bias in this match-up.

Nope. It's the highest seed IN the championship game. There is no "bid". It would be sort of anti-climactic with Clemson leading 13-1 that they would simply call the game and give the championship to FSU. Would be foolish to do that.
