Do you start Schuessler next week vs. Ga. State?

I say yes. That way he'll get some reps before having to face USC. Also, as much as we don't want to hear it, playing Schuessler next week will give Cole time to heal that bum shoulder. It is what it is and Stoudt will likely be our QB vs. USC, so he might as well be in better shape.

Nick should start both. There is no way he does any worse than Stoudt.
And people can deny it all they want, but the body language of the players on offense is different when Cole is on the field. They will say he is their QB and they trust him, etc., but I don't think it's true. It's almost as if they know he can't get it done.

as if there may be some resentment of the fact he got the starting nod to start the season when the other players knew he wasnt the best at that position

respond to Stoudt's leadership. Things just go bad when he is in. I mean, can all of those interceptions today be blamed on Stoudt? Why not the receivers? Did any of them just give up on their routes, not run them through? Regardless, it's a problem that needs addressing.

The reason they don't respond to Stoudt's leadership, is because Stoudt is not a leader. I know the kid has given a ton over the past 4 years, and I appreciate it, but he has lost "it" and the team knows.

Nick hasn't played much at all, and he certainly hasn't gotten a lot of reps in practice. But if we play Stoudt against the coots, we lose. That's clear now. And if that's the route Dabo chooses to go, then the writing begins to emerge on the wall for him... just as it did for Bowden.

Absolutely give Schuessler all first team reps in practice and let him play the entire game next week! See what he can do with a zero zero game and not having the other team spotted 21 point or whatever it was.
We know that Cole cannot make basic plays. He is shot.
