I just pulled they record against some DIII schools: It looks like they have history with 4 DIII programs.

Washington and Lee leads the series 3-2
Center College (Ky) leads the series 1-0
Catholic Univ (in DC) leads the series 2-1

But hey, the coots won their only meeting wirh Emory and Henry.

Overall, a 4-6 record against DIII. They ain't makig the playoffs their either.... or winning a conference title.

Glenn Caruso has led the St. Thomas football program since 2008, and will bring an impressive track record of success with him as they enter this new era for the program. Caruso is 126-21 leading the program including two appearances in the Division III national title game in 2012 and 2015.

Dabo is 130-31 with 4 appearances in the Division I national title game...

where the heck are they going to put us?

Don't knock DIII - it is actually a LOT more competitive. 250 teams for football (compared to 120ish for DI) and you even have some *big* programs in some sports that really run away with spending etc.

My brother is a DIII soccer coach and his program outspent several DI programs. Now, he is at a school that most would think is DI level.

This is the same program that was kicked out of their confernce last year for being too good.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Heard one the St Thomas higher ups on wccp (the national show was on, not walts) . He said they were "voluntarily removed " for basically being too good. Bball arena only seats 1500. Gonna be tough, probably gonna get the crap beat out of em for a while. Cool story tho
