By report from a credible source that Clemson fans were "rude, profane, nasty & uncouth" before & during the game. Specifically at the arrival of the Alabama team bus to the stadium. Any substantiation to this?

No. In fact, the hotel manager, bellman, and the hostess in the hotel restaurant went out of their way to tell us that the players, coaches and fans were the nicest they had ever hosted and they have hosted plenty. We were staying at the Grand Hyatt, which was the official team hotel. We did not observe any bad exchanges before, during, or after the game, either.

Source is best friend, Wofford grad & Clemson fan. Stated there was a "scrum" as Bama team got off of bus with booing and cursing from Clemson. Bad behavior in stands during game as well.
This is first I have heard of any such behavior by any Clemson fans at any time in the past. No reason to doubt this guy. He was very disappointed

ROLL UP TO THE STADIUM...I DIDNT HERE ANY BOOING FROM THE CLEMSON FANS...ACTUALLY BOTH FANS WAS CLASSY FROM WHAT I saw.

I was there when the busses showed up as well. Alabama arrived first, no disrespectful behavior towards them that I saw.
