After the long scramble, might as well give the endzone a shot, since there wasn't going to be time for another throw. With our guys, more likely a TD or incomplete than an INT. Then kick a field goal if you don't make it. I think we needed a TD more than we needed a FG.
I expect us to blow out Louisville 2nd half...

I think it is only dumb during the regular part of the game. Right there at the end of the half...take a shot! It's not like our FG kicking has been all that reliable this year.

yeah, i agree. plus, he saw his receiver give a hand wave, which is basically saying, throw it up, I'll bring it down.
