Best last forever. We have it in football and our championship pride will last for the length of my lifetime. For all the Good that the Gamechickens are experiencing it won't amount to a hill of beans in a short while if they don't close out with a championship.

If you care about your school, making a Final Four is very special for any fan.
I am sure for any player it is the same.

What other people think about it is really irrelevant.

To say it "won't matter to a hill of beans" if they don't win it all is silly.

Do you think Clemson players that made the Elite 8 in 1980 didn't accomplish anything worth a "hill of beans?"

What about Clemson's numerous teams that made the College World Series? They didn't accomplish anything?

That is a terrible way to view amateur sports. Sports aren't worth following on the college level if that is the approach.
