Baseball and just giving a shoutout to his home state.

If he is highly considering football, then I think he chooses Clemson.

My guess is that he goes the baseball route.

momentum he got in the all star game showed his ability at the next level. Ole Miss has sold the idea of the offense being built around him. No competition there either.

If you had millions of dollars waiting for you in the NFL would you want an offense built around you and 25-30 carries?

He also mentioned when discussing Clemson that he liked the idea of getting to contribute a little as a freshman while he was getting settled in the offense.

He took that to mean he is ok getting a slow start since he has focus on baseball as well.

I think that is exactly what happened. He is going to play baseball. I think we knew that a few days ago when we offered Michel Dukes ..... who I think will be a terrific RB.

going to want to make sure he gets to showcase his ability. He's almost certainly going to be THE GUY at Ole Miss. Even though we don't sign a lot of 5* backs like Bama and UGA, we still have a very talented group and he does run the risk of getting buried at Clemson. He's likely 4th string here next year and then battling it out with Lyn-J and whoever else we sign in 2020. At Ole Miss there's probably a good chance he starts in 2019.
