Difference in media perception of SEC and ACC...

Oct 13, 2018, 10:56 PM

LSU hammers UGA...media says it's difficult for even a great team like UGA to win on the road in SEC.

Miami loses at UVA...media says ACC is really weak this year!

The definition of awesome!

LSU pounded Miami. What would you say?

And let's be honest, do the atmospheres of any ACC schools outside of FSU scare anyone? Most of Clemson road games could be 50% Clemson fans if we wanted them to be.

NCST has a pretty good crowd and when UL was winning it was okay there. VT is difficult to play at for sure but yea not many others have a big game feel to them ever.

Oh you know good and well Clemson fans couldn’t take over Carter Finley. Relax.

We have before. I’ve seen it.

I want to say 2007 or 2009.

That stadium is tiny. Not hard to take over.

There's something in these hills.

Let’s be honest. A lot of these loser ACC schools haven’t done themselves any favors by losing out of conference games to crappy teams. Hard to ignore that stuff; unless it’s an $EC school. That never happens to them lol.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah. Never happens.

True, but it doesn't matter. If we win out... win the last game, we are nat champs 2 out of the last 3 years.

Win the last game -> NC 3 out of three years.

Well I would take LSU to beat UVA in a heartbeat.

Re: Difference in media perception of SEC and ACC...

Well, to be fair LSU beat Miami pretty easily earlier this year. UVA lost OOC earlier this year to an Indiana team that's just 1-3 in the Big 10 with 3 blowout losses. Then Miami who was our 2nd highest ranked team lost to UVA today.

You really can't see the difference in that vs. UGA going on the road and losing to what was another highly ranked conference team that had already beaten our 2nd highest ranked team?

Playing LSU at their house and UVA at theirs is practically the same thing right??

This year it looks like they’re right. It’s painful to watch

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Ehh.. The ACC is bad this year

Oct 14, 2018, 12:20 AM

Obviously Clemson is really good, but who's the 2nd best team? Maybe NC State but I'm not sure we really know how good they are yet. What if it's not NC State? There's a pretty sorry list of contenders behind them. Miami? VT? Duke?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Are you really comparing playing at UVA and at LSU???***
