The Tiger Paw was first on helmets in 1970 and was there in 74 when I came in.

the paw on the early to mid 1970’s helmets was very large, much larger than at any other time? Also if memory serves it pointed straight up...no 1 o’clock slant? Isn’t that correct? I was young in those days but that is how I recall it. Could be wrong...

On a side note, this was an amazing game. You won’t regret watching. It includes two great TD receptions by the great Bennie Cunningham of Seneca. Hoping our current Seneca TE can get his issues resolved and make catches like this in the near future. If not for the unbelievable heroics of Condredge Holloway on that 2 pt conversion the Tigers would’ve pulled the upset.

This was a very good Tigers team that beat UGA that year. Was that Mike O’Cain at QB position? Anyone know?
