get your popcorn (maybe Boy Scout popcorn?) ready for tonight. The Dems go at it with Bloomberg on stage.
Watched some of Klobuchar's town hall last night. She sucks. The only reason she has risen in the polls is because the others are so bad.
I hope Bernie stomps the ever living sh*t out of Bloomberg.
Tulsi won't be on stage and has no chance at the nomination, so might as well go for the nuclear option. Don't let the Dem Establishment screw Bernie again.

Because you think Trump will crush him remind me of all the Hillary people four years ago who wanted Trump as her opponent because they thought she would destroy him.
Be careful what you wish for...

Come check me out at Happy Hour in Mt P tomorrow. I found out one of my favorite bartender's is a 9/11 Truther on Thursday, so the conversation should be lively.

Wrong. Of the remaining Dems, I actually like Bernie best.

Not because I like socialism or think his fantasies will ever work.
But. BUT.
I respect his consistency and his cause, which is for the working man. The middle class has been screwed by the Establishment and that is what Trump tapped in '16 and what Bernie taps. If I have to go with capitalism or socialism, I'm capitalist all the way. But at least Bernie is a consistent voice calling bullsh*t on the elites and the Establishment. I like Bernie the person. Not the socialism.
To summarize, APM is anti-Establishment and Bernie is that.

Good summary... Even Bernie knows that there would have to

be considerable compromise on a number of his issues... Even so, some claw-back on the .1%ers is due. Repatriating from overseas tax havens, both individual and corporate, would be a start. If you made it here, pay your share.

You want Bernie, because you think he will be easier for Trump to beat than Bloomberg.

as you may think. We want Bernie to destroy the democrat party. Nothing says republican in office across the land like Dems' screwing Bernie and setting AOC up as the future leader of a new socialist party which splits the dem party in half.

I'm never going to write a party off. I still remember the confetti and streamers in here when Obama won in 2008, and multiple declarations the the Republican party was dead forever.
When you rub someone's face in it, they circle the wagons and do something extreme, and that got Trump. Now the same has been done to the Dems and they seem to be reacting similarly. Might not work this go-round but I picture an even whackier slate of candidates in 2024 if they don't win, and one of those people might very well win.

I think the Repubs were done, but the idiotic Dems couldnt get out of their own way with their PC bull, open borders, identity politics, fighting to bring in Muslim refugees, etc etc. Trump pounced on all of that and the rest is history.

Nah, that "Pubs are done" thing pretty much

was proven wrong when the Pubs picked 60+ seats in the House in 2010, back when Trump was still a Democrat.
Sooner or later there will be enough Dems/Indys who don't necessarily love the Dem platform as much as they are tired of the Pub platform and get enough critical mass to combine with the Dems who do love the platform.
Assuming the electoral college is allowed to stay put, I don't see single party rule for any length of time, at least in my lifetime.

I'm predicting with 244 years of history.
One thing's sure...one of us is right.
Now, if the electoral college is ended, or if this whole "give electoral college votes to popular vote winner" movement isn't ruled unconstitutional, then yeah, you're right, because such actions are designed to lock a Dem into office via winning major metros.

Repubs used to be the party of stupid with religious nutcases, racists, homophobes, etc etc. The Dems are now the party of stupid....open borders, free medical for illegals, LGBTQ, white privilege talk, etc.

The $64k quest-ion... "Sooner or later?". Pubs voting Bern

in the SC primary to diss the DNC sounds like a Bannon 3-D politico move. They might have over thought things.
SC is a Pub state that's really irrelevant in the general, but giving Bern momentum going into Super Tuesday might not be a wise move.
Money aside, I think Bloomberg's baggage gets too heavy for the DNC and they eventually realize their only chance at unseating T-Rump is to start negotiating with Bern. It's definitely undoable without him. A brokered convention for anyone else would be a fait accompli...

AOC is no worse than Louis Gomert. Both parties have their nuts.
Trump and the MSM will try to sabotage Bernie (if the DNC doesn't do it first). And it won't matter.
People want real change. The Establishments of both parties, the MSM and virtually every newspaper was against Trump...but he won.
Bernie will not be so easy to defeat as some think. His message resonates with a lot of people. People are sick of being harvested like so much wheat. Bernie's message speaks to more people than the Conservative Media thinks.
