Sep 13, 2018, 9:53 AM

And that Columbia might have different weather than Clemson?

Oh right it's about the state troopers who do nothing but stand around and yell at pedestrians.

Re: quite a difference between 70mph winds and 20mph

Sep 13, 2018, 1:18 PM

This map is showing the percentage chance of winds exceeding 39 MPH, and showing the upstate with less chance than Columbia. It is not predicting 20 mph vs 70 mph wind speed.

or what about the fans who may be in harms way?

Sep 13, 2018, 1:28 PM

theres more to it than just the weather..its bad optics to be having a grand old time at the football game while the other half of the state is getting pounded by a storm
