every day, without letting them into the actual grass to pee/crap first.


So our very nice and non-pallet deck looks like a dang poop mine field.

JuniorAdidas has the chore of picking the poop up every day.

JuniorAdidas came to me and said, "can you talk to mama about letting the dogs poop in the grass first before putting them on the deck?"

I told him that I made that suggestion months ago and that women are stubborn and it would be better received if she heard it directly from him.

It's rare for him to do anything intelligent, so I asked some follow up questions:

boy - dad, can we take the dogs out to poop BEFORE putting them out by the deck?

me - sure why?

boy - well because i have to pick up all of the poop and if we would let them in the grass first, they probably wouldn't poop so much on the deck

me - good idea

boy - will you tell mama?

me - i did, she doesn't listen. you tell her.

boy - maybe i'll just start being the one to let them out

me - yea, that would probably be easier
