Did anyone notice the OBVIOUS...

holding by Bama against Ryan Carter on Hurts' last TD run? I couldn't believe it was missed as Hurts ran right by and Carter was twisting trying to get free.

The interesting thing... I'm glad it wasn't called as because it gave us the time we needed to retake the lead and win.

But, I hated to see that at the time after the missed targeting to Williams and Renfrow's catch ruled incomplete early in the game (ball touched the ground but he had control).

I thought the officiating stunk most of the game all the way around

targeting calls would have given them an excuse...

drove me crazy at the time, but happy it worked the way it did.

that was a mauling! :) But we didn't run a pick either so it all works out!

We actually didn't run a pick. I believe that the rule states that the blocking cannot occur while the ball was in the air (=offensive pass interference). I reviewed the plays and it didn't occur on either Williams (Leggett blocking...actually just standing there) or Renfrew's (Scott blocking) catches. It was a helluva sales job "falling down" by Artavis Scott at the end. Very well timed and well done!

They were reviewing plays that were just obvious.

Sometimes I felt like they were killing our momentum on purpose. Didn't work.
