Did Jimbo pull a Spurrier when he left in a hurry ??

Seems like Jimbo has left Taggart with nothing to work with at Fla.State,much the same as Spurrier did the USUK gang in Cootlumbia -- where did all that Fla.State ""talent"" go ?? -- after all, Fla.State had to re-schedule / win a game last year with La-Monroe,to be eligible for a bowl* -- maybe Jimbo,saw the light and took the$$$$$$$$$$$$, cause he knew what was coming ?? -- what's really strange,is that Fla.State would pay $6 million a year for a coach with a losing record,in the first place?? (record when hired, 47W - 50L )
We need to count our blessings,that our AD had the wisdom & foresight,to hire a ""Cheerleader,that once sold real estate"" and give him the chance to become one of the best college coaches in the country !!!!! GO TIGERS !!!!!!!!!!

No Spurrier left mid season. At least Jimbo waited it out.

Taggart is a good coach that built WKU and SFLa everyone seems to forget FSU last year getting hammered by Louisville.Francois getting sacked over and over.He'll get it done there.

Not sure how you can still say Taggart is a good coach when they lose by 30 to Syracuse. It may not be ALL his fault, but a good coach with their overall talent level does not have that embarassing of a showing.

Taggard hasn't had a full season to get his team together. You can't blame anything on anyone yet. Jimbo had that team packed with five star talent but Imo, that isn't always a gauge of how well a group of kids will become a team.
The man needs a few seasons to work, perhaps four seasons to develop linemen. We'll see.

I have to agree with the talent being there,after looking at the last four recruiting classes -- Taggart should have a good group to coach up* -- maybe he brings in more of ""his style"" players with the next class ?? will wait & see ??

2017 -#16 -14 -2/5*-8/4*-4/3*
2016 -#11 -21 -1/5*-11/4*-8/3*-1 unranked
2015 -#9 -26 -3/5*-9/4*-12/3*-2 unranked
quality & development may be a key to success or like Alabama,#1,#1,#1,#5 recruiting class in the same period with ( 17, 5*s) and going for another #1 class this year -- that's what we have to try and beat year after year after year*****

They stunk with Jimbo. How in the world do you think W. Taggert is just going to magically turn it around in a couple games. Be good to get them now. I know they will get better. Not enough to beat CU continuously but better!
