Jan 3, 2017, 1:53 PM

Sam Darnold is the next Vince Young with a Tom Brady arm. Already the 1st pick in the 2018 draft and he has already won the 2017 Heisman.. Already!!

My money would be on Bo Scarborough(?) winning the 2017 Heisman.

I agree the love affair is overboard, but

he has had a heck of a season since taking over the starting spot. Yesterday's game was crazy....he got away with a few things, but generally played great.

well then, that tells DW he better go pro. No chance for a Natty and a Heisman on his resume'

It's not fair to compare him to DW4.

Jan 3, 2017, 3:31 PM

It's not fair to compare any college quarterback to DW4 right now. The kid at USC is really good. I'd love to have that kid on our team. ESPiN started the season hyping this kid. When he lost a few games they seemed to have forgotten. Now he's back.

I'm not buying that PSU was all that. Most of the teams they beat for their conference championship either didn't go to a bowl game or lost when they got there. They set the bar kinda low for a spread offense with as much talent across the board as USC.

Henceforth we might get that kinda hype for a new QB. It usually only comes to the bluebloods. We'll see when we start the season next year.
