Yes I know that Clemson preference would be OB, but so would an undefeated Alabama. Want to get tickets soon before they get crazy. Buy both?? Then sell the wrong one?

Bama will be in the Cotton (770 vs 600 Miles). It appears that aside from UGA, everyone else appears closer to Dallas than Miami.

Alabama will absolutely choose Cotton. Why I’m the heck would anyone want to go to Miami and play In that dump when you could yo to Texas and play in Jerryworld?
FWIW, I still disagree with Dabo’s decision to go to NO instead of the Rose last year. That place is special and a huge part of college football history. If Clemson never plays there, it’s on Dabo.

Just as a preference I'd love to play in the Cotton. We have been to the Orange several times, been a long time since we have been to the Cotton

The committee has a rule that no 1 seed will be geographically disadvantaged. And the Cotton is slightly closer to Alabama than Orlando is. There was a write-up about this on ESPN's site.
