You'd think Dabo would have had a team meeting after the Sammy fiasco to communicate the rule. How many more players are going to use the excuse "I didn't know".

If he was not aware of the rule...should have been due to Watkins situation....if a nonprofit party then he will get reprimanded....if forprofit party and he knew it was then we have a minor violation and I am sure the entire football team will have a special meeting on this subject and it will never happen again.
Would be nice if he did not know about it and they find out a coot did it. However they can't talk...this is the second one for us...they have had three players reprimanded for the same thing.

however, it's absolutely amazing to me that any athlete would knowingly allow his name to be used to promote ANY type of party, considering the recent controversies. The best policy is to avoid ALL of these situations, period. The warning ought to be simple: Don't allow your name to be used publicly unless first cleared with the coaches and the compliance office...FOR ANY REASON!

Yes!!! These KIDS should stop having birthdays as long as they are a Clemson FB player. How many people of Tiger Nation have had a birthday party at a club and not make a dime from it. I'm sure that is the case here. Its not like they are Super Stars and their names are going to pack the club. I'm also sure this was to let there friends know where they are having their birthday party at.

It is very interesting that the State newspaper uses stories, pictures, etc. everyday on the front page to sell papers and make money for their advertisers. Seems like a double standard to me.
