Jounge Advice Needed - ISO a Bluetooth Speaker for Beach

I have a small JBL box (came as 2-pack from Sam's Club a few years ago) and it is serviceable if you only want to listen with a friend. I need something more robust that I can take to the beach and make people hate me. I want to be able to listen to War Pigs REALLY loud, over and over and over. It also needs to be rather weatherproof as we may or may not take great care of said speaker. Do you guys have any suggestions other than me going to funk myself or eating a bag full of chocolate dingalings?

(first gen)....haven't heard 2nd gen in a real-life scenario, but I'd have to assume it is equal to or better than the first.

a Beats Pill, it was on a Breck, brah trip.
Cuz was playing some rap #### on his Pill
Frand started playing something else on Boom
I was like "woah, WtehF are you playing that on?
He said "UE Boom"
and then he took it out of his suitcase.
it sounded better even when still packed. plus, you can turn it on/off via the phone app (you may be able to do this w/ the Pill, don't know don't care)

Thumps, waterproof, and can charge your phone if needed
And if one of your homies has one (or a similar JBL) you can sync them together to really chap everyone's ###.
I've had mine for a few years so there may be a newer model. I never have any problems drowning out anyone's music at the pool, and when my neighbor syncs his up, it's loud as ####.
I personally think the sound is a little deeper than the UE Boom if your into punchy bass lines and stuff

I guess you can link these things up so if you have two, you could have one inside and outside, or something like that.
I can't imagine the money I've wasted on stereo equipment over the years..and I end up with a simple speaker so I can play music through my phone.

Battery lasts about an hour, and it doesn't stop working...it just gets quieter and quieter. About 15 minutes in my phone is probably louder, and probably has a better sound quality.
If I could get my $24 back, I would.

If you got a bad one, Cambridge Soundworks will fix it...they purty good at customer service. Prolly just send you another. I bought a home theater system from them a while back, didn't have all the component connections (cuz am electronics dumb), called CS to help with set up even though I felt pretty good that I'd hooked up the speakers correctly. Dude found out what I needed and sent the component cables to me fo free.

I built a cooler speaker that gets up to 115db 5' away from it. I could also hear it over 300' away on the beach. Very fukking loud. I can teach you how to build one if you want. It'll cost around $400 for one that gets that loud. You can build one that gets like 110 db for considerably less. All you need is a cooler, car/rv/boat battery, amp, speakers, and bluetooth receiver. It's ghetto as #### but louder and battery lasts longer than anything you can buy
