Dear Brad Brownell

Apr 25, 2013, 6:11 PM

I know ya don't need my help because your a head coach and all but just a little advice for ya, check this guy out from Columbia. I seriously doubt he'd go to college at all but if he does pleaseeee keep him away from the coots.

I didn't think we were supposed to recruit anymore Private

School players...

Heathwood Hall equals Pinewood Prep

I think we've learned our lesson on 'big fish in a little pond' over the past 4 years.

ABSOLUTELY no doubting of his awesome abilities, but it's against pitiful competitition. While there are always exceptions, a good 90% of these little church varsity teams would not have a winning record in public school JV leagues.

The best thing for him to do athletically is to get into a program with true competition if the reality of UNC, DUKE or KENTUCKY is his ultimate goal.

Wow

This kid may be the best to ever come out of South Carolina. Those highlights are better than Kevin Garnett's high school highlights and this is only his freshman year.
I bet he goes to an out-of-state bball school (hopefully not Duke or UNC)

Better than Kevin Garnett? Come on man…..

Apr 28, 2013, 7:58 PM

he is playing against non athletes in a church high school league.

I saw Kevin play as a high schooler at Mauldin...

this kid isn't close...Kevin dominated against very good competition.

Your worried about a kid that plays basketball against…..

Apr 28, 2013, 7:57 PM

mostly 5'7" teenagers with no athletic ability. You do remember we just had a player like this and you do remember how that turned out. Get a clue.

He totally carries the ball when he crosses over

Apr 28, 2013, 8:07 PM

Where's the call refs?

Nike & NBA brainwashed that rule out of their minds long ago***

Still it is blatant

Apr 28, 2013, 8:39 PM

He essentially stops, holds the ball, and then starts again with the cross over. I would be hard to guard if I could just start and stop my dribble whenever I wanted.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

NBA is actually calling carries now…..

Apr 28, 2013, 8:40 PM [ in reply to Nike & NBA brainwashed that rule out of their minds long ago*** ]

carrying the ball is allowed a whole lot more on the college level now. NBA has cracked down on carrying.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

As soon as he swings the ball wide with the left hand

Apr 28, 2013, 8:48 PM

I'm stepping hard right and picking up the charge. Once he swings it so far wide the only thing he can do is go for his bootleg cross over.
