opting to play in Europe next year. That would suck. Sure hope they come back to school.

Of course it’s a possibility.

But it isn’t likely.

Prepare to be dissapointed

I think most close with the program (like Hood) expect them in Europe or the D League next year collecting paychecks. They already have their diplomas, so Clemson's job is done.

I think everybody was expecting both of them back until David Hood made that comment

People forget that David was guessing.

He didn't say he has it on good authority or has any inside info.

Good! That makes me feel better

I can confirm this is true. The two of them just absolutely dread school and are highly likely to forego their final year of eligibility

Not to mention they both graduated already. They don't want to take a pointless year of grad classes with a diploma already in hand

Unfortunately, this is what I heard right after the season

ended. Would set us back quite a bit.

That's the definition of an understatement. If Reed and Mitchell don't return, we are screwed.

if this is true it is a shame because they gave us a late game one two punch driving the lane and hitting foul shots. Not to mention very good outside shooting. Oh well- Improvise , overcome, adapt I guess

Unfortunately, I don't think they return either...Hope I'm

Remember the feeling when the entire defensive line announced they were coming back?
This is the exact opposite of that feeling

If both leave, who are our guards in 2018-19?

Any transfer possibilities?

Hundreds and hundreds. Many kids will wait

to make a decision on where to transfer until after players like Reed and Mitchell make theirs. Honestly, I'm good with starting the year with Oliver at 2G. Need a PG badly though if Mitchell does leave, even if Trapp makes a big leap, just for depth.
