Danny Ford’s Hemp

Was in Anderson today and heard that Danny took his 2018 hemp crop to a processor on the SC coast - and that there is a problem with the processor and Danny is having to resort to legal means to try to receive payment for his crop. Could not find any info regarding this in the Googleverse .... Has anybody heard anything regarding this issue??

Trouble between them, but I don’t know any details. I do know that there are many more growers than processors, so processing is somewhat of a bottleneck right now. But I don’t know if Danny’s problem has to do with delay in processing, an issue with the hemp (contains herbicides, pesticides or THC content too high), or both. It is a very new industry. So the learning curve is steep for everyone.

Read that the breakpoint for THC is 0.3% - ie hemp cannot have >0.3% THC.... But have no idea if that’s a stringent requirement ... or if hemp normally has much less than that ....

nothing (other than sick to your stomach). I believe marijuana has something like 20% THC content.

and he wouldn't have gotten fired, and then Clemson FB wouldn't have dried up in the mid 90's..and thus he wouldn't have to resort to growing weed!
I've liked Danny from day one til now and will always praise his name for that 1st Natty for Clemson..and for staying in Clemson & working his asss off farming rather than laying around & yapping his mouth off against the many coaches that followed him!

Maybe we should have gotten a better Athletic Director and College President. That situation took care of itself, eventually. The little Dweeb AD went to GT. They hired Paul Johnson. Could be that person likes going low too.

You know very little about the man if you call the AD a little dweeb. Bobby was and is a good man. Loves Clemson. Worked at Clemson his entire life until little aholes like you made it impossible for him to stay. He still lives in Clemson and is a big supporter of the tigers. The President and the board forced Danny out because Danny openly thumbed his nose at them publicly after privately being told what they would and wouldn’t do. If you are going to spew your hate for people you don’t know move on, we don’t need you here.

I knew Bobby and worked with him when I was in broadcasting and also worked for several years in the Athletic Department. He treated everyone with respect and always looked out for Clemson.
