I understand bits and pieces:
"You missed this call... You're a SOB... 25 seconds ran off....[Ref: It's been a tough game, Danny], No it ain't been a tough game...."
Can someone fill in his other words/statements?? Did he say the F word at some point? I've always heard rumors that he did, but I don't hear it here (maybe edited out). Thanks!

He was referring to a call the same crew made for UNC the week before on a completed pass that was never close to being a completions. So he started out his tirade with " you screwed on a call last week ".
If you watch the touchdown that Maryland scored, three things happened on the play. The left guard jumped early, the pass was never caught and the 25 second play clock had expired. Ford was pissed.

their guy caught a pass late in the game like 4 yards out of bounds on UNC sideline and ref called the guy in and later that week the ACC said yeah we blew that call....DUH!

I was an 8 year old kid sitting on about the 35 yard line in the lower deck on the opposite end of the stadium but on the same North side.
Remember that play to this day.
My friend and his dad who we rode to the games with were around the 10 yard line in that endzone. Said it was not a catch and it surely wasn't we got screwed.
Still ticks me off

The whimp official stood there until Danny was back on the sideline. He THEN threw the flag on Ford. He wouldn't do it while Danny was near him.

I was 12 and standing at the fence at the bottom of the hill right in front of the play. The ball went right thru the MD receivers hands. Not to mention the play clock was at zero from a good 4-5 seconds before the ball was snapped.
This was also the game were several Clemson players ganged up on a couple of MD players on the Clemson sideline after the game, punching, hitting with helmet, etc. Lead to several players being suspended (as well as DF) for the next MD game.

Clemson, especially during Maryland games. Anybody remember this "TD" catch during the '09 game right before the half. They even reviewed this one and still called it a TD.
By the way.... I got this photo from the Maryland web site after the game. Guess they're proud of sticking it to Clemson!!
