no sense. Haven't we done this once already in the past just recently? Bump up his pay, but do not extend the terms. There was no reason to. He was not going ANYWHERE. He is well aware of how good he has it. This just did not have to be done.

Extending the length helps recruiting. The buyout drops every year. He wasn't going anywhere the next 4 years anyway. And by year 5 the buyout is manageable if CU wanted a change.
