Yeah but we had Christian Wilkins, Albert Huggins, and Pinckney at DT. Then we had Austin Bryant and Ferrel on the ends. Totally different to what we are bringing in. We are incredibly thin on the DL.

I know you need to generate some middle pressure on Burrow; but even healthy I don't think Nyles was going to be that guy all of a sudden.
LSU and CEH will run it; but that's not their stick. If this was Bama a few years ago; I would say an experienced DT going down was a big deal. This is the 2019 LSU Tigers and I don't see it being as big of a deal as it usually would be; because of their style of offense.
And limited is not - not playing! I have seen limited turn into playing the majority of the game depending on how well the player feels.

You could call the role Pinckney played all season "limited". Hopefully, he can play in predominately run downs.

LSU runs the ball well too, so they have that option. Their RB is a stud. Our D has their hands full. Then again, so does their D. This game will be fascinating. I have no idea what to really expect. I imagine they will put up over 500 yards on us, but that doesnt mean they wont have to settle for a bunch of fgs.

You can look this up, but LSUs run pass ratio is only 52-48..your not play mike leach team..the passing numbers are so gaudy because of their ridiculous efficiency, not because of excessive imbalance. LSU will absolutely run it, and the strength of their oline is their interior 3.

Burrow has thrown 478 passes. Clyde whatever has run the ball 199 times. That’s not 52-48. You’re a passing team.

Carlsbad is spot on. Fools gold to keep bringing up the defense numbers this year. It's all on CBV. You could hear that in his response to K'won.
What we accomplished against oh4o was nothing short of a miracle on CBV's behalf. He's got to roll the dice tomorrow. The talent is just not there this year.

Not true. There will be 3 guys on this DL drafted 1-2nd round. Talent is there. Tyler Davis is a much more mature Grady Jarrett as a freshman.

It wasn't our interior run defense that Ohio St. exploited. If pressuring Burrow is our biggest concern. Every called run by LSU may be a blessing.

If Nyles even plays. Sounds like he really wont be a factor. Its going to be Davis backed up by Williams and they will have to do it all at NT. Our DE's will be just trying to hold the edge and we will be creating bringing the pressure from elsewhere. BV will be working his magic.
