The recruiting tactics of many SEC teams remind me of a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade,. throwing beads to everyone along the parade route. Unfortunately, some recruits put a lot of emphasis on the school that makes them their first offer. Dabo's recruiting tactics have proven to result in national championships even though we have never had the Number one, or even a top five, recruiting class. Not all 5***** recruits are "Clemson material" but this year's class has many that do fit that mold and we currently sit at No. One in the recruiting rankings.
