Dabo loves to talk in interviews

Oct 21, 2013, 12:15 PM

He will talk forever about how things here are different. Lol. His post game Saturday sure was short. I agree, I wish he would stop talking and bragging til he actually wins something.

Now I hated Saturday night just as much as any of you,

Oct 21, 2013, 12:21 PM

but to say "stop talking til he actually wins something" is moronic. As much I remember the bad taste in my mouth from the FSU game and also the Orange Bowl, I also remember the sweet celebration for an ACC Championship in 2011, which I had been waiting a LONG time for.

Disappointed with Saturday, yes. But give him credit for what he has done as well.

ok then I wish he would coach and not talk. is that better. about half the time he opens his mouth in front of a microphone he mucks something up. coach more, wait let me correct that ceo more, let the other coaches coach more, recruit more and motivate more and TALK less. how about that?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I know like an ACC title at least

Oct 21, 2013, 12:22 PM

oh wait...

Yes, the way he talks in interviews, you'd think he had

won 17 of his last 19 games or 27 of his last 33. Maybe even an ACC Cahmpionships and 3 division titles.

Wonder why nobody's asking you to talk in an interview?

Let's take the good with the bad. By the way, there is ALOT more good than bad!!! However, on the bad side, Dabos has presided over 2 historical losses. The all time epic BEATING known as the Orange Bowl and this past Saturday night in which Free Shoes scored points in
Death Valley than any opponent over 120 years of playing F'ball.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Three. The answer is 3. Of course one of those was a tie.***

Oh, so both played in the ACCCG?

Oct 21, 2013, 3:23 PM

It's called a tie breaker for a reason

Re: You're right. The tie breaker is used to determine who

Oct 21, 2013, 3:29 PM

plays in the ACCCG. But that doesn't change the fact that Clemson won a share of the Division title. They had the same conference record as FSU.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Exactly, they had the same record and shared the title

Oct 21, 2013, 7:07 PM

because FSU couldn't do something that Clemson could do and that was beat NC STATE.

Oct 23, 2013, 1:07 PM

Yeah because that excuses the fact that we lost to them.

need for the tiebreaker is because both FSU and Clemson TIED FOR THE DIVISION TITLE!

The tie breaker does exactly that

Oct 23, 2013, 12:09 PM

breaks the tie. Therefore, there is no tie.

and because fsu BEAT us!

That would be 3. Division titles in 2009, 2011, and 2012.***

Re: Most disturbing Dabo philosophy on

Oct 21, 2013, 1:05 PM

his coaches show/interviews/teleconferences is when he will never mention anything negative. Example: Jayron Kearse (I know he is a true frosh) takes a horrible angle on the 38 yard td run in the BC game and then swings his arm at the RB's shoulder pad rather than trying to tackle the legs, Dabo says "there's Jayron Kearse doing a good job at trying to prevent a touchdown". Come on Man!! It was a horrible effort! Also, he always mentions how good Blanks is playing, etc. Poor Blanks may be the worst tackler in the nation. He gets completely RUN OVER 2-3 times every game. Dabo doesn't have to run anybody down, but he could mention the obvious. Lastly, on injuries/personal problems he is overly positive about someone's return, ie., Carlos Watkins tragic car wreck. Dabo said he's physically fine. We will get him back in a couple of weeks. If I'm not mistaken, he hasn't practiced in 6 weeks.
