based on watching the man for years and hearing the feedback by those around him. Cowherd can praise him, demean him, shame him, condemn him...I don't care. This sports talk guys have opinions like fast flowing rivers. No depth, on to the next thing. Whatever will be shocking or get viewers or whatever. It's of no value otherwise.

I will never know unless I see it here. I'm in ignore mode on sports talk. And besides Dabo should speak when he feels he should and not because someone outside the program "feels" he should. Dont give outsiders the power

Paraphrasing.
But, he didn't spend a lot of time on it. He suggested, given Dabo's recruiting abilities and how empathetic and in-tune he usually is with everything, that he was surprised at Dabo's tone-deafness at this particular point in time. He prefaced his comments with background that Dabo belongs to the organization that uses the phrase and has been using it for quite some time. He made the point that people should not judged by one simple mistake and instead on the totality of their contributions.

His ability to empathize with anybody from any walk of life is uniquely remarkable. His life story is amazing and his sincerity is unquestioned.

some White people don't like to talk about racism. They get really defensive. They don't want to hear it.
