The statement of building "The football team’s $55 million, state-of-the-art Allen N. Reeves football complex sits where unused farmland once did", just doesn't seem right. Growing up in Clemson in the 50's and 60's, I just don't remrmber that being farm land. However, Thomas Green Clemson or John C. Calhoun might have planted corn down by the Seneca River back then!
And I'm sorry for those of you who gratuated before the "Dabo Era" because you're neither very accomplished or interested in education as quote in the article, "the professors get to teach more accomplished and more interested students".
But, I will continue to proudly display my uninteresting and less accomplished diploma all day long.
Great article about Dabo's economic impact but a shady overreach when he uses this as a metaphor for all economic inequality.
For example, Swinney (unlike others we can think of) does not funnel pretax dollars into offshore accounts for purposes of evasion and when he is responsible for getting new staff and facilities, he does not look first to China.
