Swinney reacts to "special moment" and critical mistakes

Clemson narrowly escaped Death Valley with a 42-36 win over Louisville Saturday night, but according to Dabo Swinney the Tigers made enough mistakes to lose three games.

When playing a great team every mistake is magnified. I feel that happened for both teams. Costly mistakes on both sides. In the end the Tigers came out victorious. These Tigers are special and no doubt Coach Swinney is proving that Consistency is the key to building an elite program.

I remember when Boston College and Matt Ryan first came to Death Valley. I was there as a student. Those BC fans are not very nice. Those guys'll be ready the "smack 'em in the face." And they will be lookin' for Clemson to be unprepared for that. Their coach is tough and will have'm ready to play.

Clemson should be ready to bring the same intensity they did this past weekend.

Consistency.... is key.

Smack 'em in the face? Like Clemson has never faced this before. Tigers much more talented. If Dabo's guys play up to their potential this isn't close. The only good team BC has played is VaTech and the Hokies won that game 49-0.
