DW4 will get the Heisman -

Dec 4, 2016, 6:55 PM

the sports media folks will start to get the message and the coverage this week will turn to Watson's favor - they'll call it a 'spoiler' or 'upset' or whatever they have to do to CYA on their Lamar love fest.

A lot of them already voted. I hope you are correct though****

I saw that only 9% has voted

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That was of like 10 day ago. That is a lot though.

Dec 4, 2016, 7:02 PM

Watson already had an uphill battle. I bet on Watson, so I want him to win, but it's going to be tough.

Only 9% have voted as of yesterday, the voting didn't open

until after November 21st. ESPN was complaining today that it was a shame that 9% had voted before all the games before the award were completed.

Doubt the 9% are all LJ -***

I suspect they are. If you vote early you are likely uninformed and lazy and you just went chalk

every single one of those "voters" should lose their vote privilege permanently

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Exactly. I hope not though. You are probably correct****

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Exactly.. ballots went out 2 weeks ago. Not sure why we don't include the whole season,

including bowls.

I am hearing 10% voted already . Doesn't mean he won't get a fair shake , but I bet that 10% are all for Lamar Jackson .

Here is my most compelling arguement...

Dec 4, 2016, 7:06 PM

Watson MET a ton of voters at last years ceremony .

Not the ESPN 'experts' that have no vote... but have an interest in clicks and controversy.

They got a first hand look at Character and Talent. Pretty sure DW4 makes a skrong impression.

No other player in consideration remotely comes close to Watson on the qualities that the award is designed to represent.

Re: Here is my most compelling arguement...

Dec 4, 2016, 7:12 PM

that's a fair point. I also hold out hope that some voters feel they have a chance to "right the wrong" from last year. I actually like D Henry, but I think DW4 raised a lot of eyebrows in the nc game

I think tomorrow is the days so something better happen quickly.
I think there will be a change in the Heisman selection next year.
As it is now, it is a joke

here's one...

and if doesn't win he should sue ESPN FOR Deformation of character after using his photo in the headlines about African American student athletes not graduating like white student athletes do THEY USED HIS PHOTO TO INFLUENCE VOTERS TO THINK NEGATIVE OF HIM! WHEN THE ONLY STORY WITH HIM IN THE PHOTO SHOULD HAVE BEEN HOW HE WILL GRADUATE IN 3 YRS

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think you mean "defamation", not "deformation".***
