Glad he won it but a bit surprised after he bit ...

on the play fake and got beat deep near the end of the game. Minus that play he indeed had a stellar game.

McDaniel did not get beat. He was on the other side of the football field. It was Hall that bit on the play action pass.

Ya, McDaniel was in the FS position on that play. Chris Chancellor is the one who got toasted. Chris C. has been notorious for getting burnt. He got burnt last year in the GT game, this year in the GT game, and this year in the Maryland game. All of which were game changing plays.

McDaniel will be playing on Sundays for sure. He has that knack the good players have, like Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Brian Dawkins, and that is hes ALWAYS around the ball and always in the right place at the right time.

NCAA INTs: McDaniel #1. Hall #25. Eric Berry, Taylor Mays-NR

Oct 25, 2009, 4:49 PM

Tenessee's safety Eric Berry and USC's safety Taylor Mays get all the press hype (and they're great hitters), but Berry and Mays have 1 pick each this season. Would you trade either for McDaniels?

And how about the RS freshman Rashard Hall showing up on the NCAA interception leader board? At least we get to keep him for a couple more years.
