I can't think of a better pairing for the next several years after TL moves on! I hope he has a wonderful visit this weekend in The Valley and decides to make it his future home.

His freshman year will have Ross and Kendrick as Juniors, Ladson, Ngata, and Spector as sophomores, and whatever studs that choose to come with him in his class. That sounds like a pretty good setup for a QB prospect.

I left off any possible seniors because my guess would be that the Clemson staff is selling him on what is guaranteed to be here when he would arrive. Sure they may be mentioning that Higgins or Rodgers or possibly even a 5th year Powell who is considering a redshirt could be here.

Also with the idea that he would have a strong chance to at best split time as a freshman with junior Lawrence in his last season at Clemson, I would think they would be talking up juniors and under who would be his go to guys when he takes over the following year.

If I had to guess they are not trying to sell him on the fact that he will beat out Lawrence in his freshman year but that he will have every opportunity to beat out Brice and TP as a sophomore.

If DJ commits to the Tigers, he will serve as a magnet for the top WR's. Excellence attracts excellence, or something along that line.
