beating them this weekend. It would save the Domers the embarrassment of getting hammered in the Playoffs, much like happened a few years ago when they were voted into a National Championship game and had no business being there. For purely selfish reasons, I hope Notre Dame wins out, so that we can be the ones to smoke them. This will remind them once again that 2015 was not a fluke, and that they have another butt whupping coming in 2020.

They may try and cancel 2020 if we beat them too bad.... if Trevor kills them as a freshman they want no part of him as a Junior

Thanks for the info, I didn't know that.

Is that something that they added when they re-upped/extended the contract last year, or was it that way from the start?

I can't find anything about it in articles from back in 2012-14 when they first agreed to the ACC partnership, but it definitely appears in the later articles from 2017 when they extended the contract.
