Richt may re-instate Josh Harvey-Clemons.

Wouldn't surprise me if he announced that "JHC has done everything asked of him and more this summer."

It looks like UGA is running into the same kind of luck Maryland had last year w/ their Quarterbacks!

But I understand why the excuses are being prepared... Besides I thought the mighty SEC has no drop off in depth or speed... Lol

Richt has been know to be selective in the games for serving the suspension. I would be a little surprised, but not totally shocked if he moved Josh Harvey-Clemons' suspension.

USC game when they played the 2nd week of the season every year. I can understand taking some shots at Richt for allowing his players to get into trouble constantly, but i don't think there's much to say about his discipline.

Thank you for taking up for him on this ... I usually don't like to debate non-football related "issues" ... too much emotion from both sides and no one ever wins.
Georgia, just like most schools out there have issues. I contend that it appears that Georgia has more than most because of the extremely strict policy on underage drinking and pot. Georgia - first offense is suspension of 10% of the season (games not practice like SOS), no matter the sport. Most other schools are 2 or 3 before any punishment at all goes into effect.
JHC is on thin ice ... I mean real thin ice. Though he has not been caught red handed he has been WAY too close to two BIG fires. If he does not straighten up he just may waist his possible NFL opportunities. Some kids would rather be thugs than rich. I just don't understand it.

Curious what your 2-deep secondary looks like.

JHC is huge, but seems like the other two would have been several strings down the line.

CB - JR Damian Swann. Returning starter, and primed for a big year. Will play boundary CB opposite Watkins' boundary WR spot.
CB - SO Sheldon Dawson. Limited playing time last year, but had a huge spring with 4 INTs in three scrimmages.
FS - FR Tray Matthews. Early entrant true FR. Big hitter and can really cover some ground. Knocked out two WRs during spring practice.
SS - TBD. This was the spot that Josh Harvey-Clemmons would have played if he hadn't been a knucklehead. Will probably be filled by Shaq Fluker an incoming JC transfer.

Think Mitchell will stay put ... for his sake I hope so. He is too talented to jerk him around. We do need him and I have been wrong before.
This was an injury that happened during his Sr. season. Knew that it would heal very slowly or surgery - so, not unexpected. At the point of time and healing that better to do now and be 100% next spring.

We've got Dawg fans talking about football in a civil manner on an opponent's site.

and use a banged up secondary against the Dawgs. The sack used that against us and had a pretty good passing game because it. I'm not going to say it's the classiest strategey in the world, but I guess that's just how the game's played sometimes.
That being said, I really feel bad for this kid and hope he gets well soon.

You should always exploit your enemy's weaknesses. There's a reason military strategists and others still read Sun Tzu's The Art of War and Machiavelli's The Prince.

Don't Get Relaxed.

This is sad to hear but the Clemson players shouldn't buy into all of Georgia's problems and have it get our team too confident and complacent. Its not going to be a breeze just yet. This is still an important game. Its still Georgia that we have to line up and play against. I don't care if UGA got the best, highly street credited underground athletes in the world, off the street or the best athletes from all the toughest prisons in the nation to help them. We got to have their A** for the win in THE DEATH VALLEY!

I truly hate that the dogs are suffering so many injuries. I would much rather we beat a ugay team at full strength. All we will hear after we thrash them is that, we beat up on an injured dog team. And that we couldn't have beat them at full strength.

I've seen the excuse "our backup kicker was injured" excuse given before as to why Clemson beat a team. People will look for any kind of rationalization. Other than that Tajh and Co. absolutely trashed them, naturally.

Gotta admit, y'all kill us in recruiting JUCO. Wish Clemson had academics that could accommodate those guys easier.
