This year is probably not an issue, but in 2019 we would have Pinkney and who else?? Wow we go from best players in the nation at DT to pulling someone over from oline or playing two true freshman.

I wouldn't sweat it overly.
The kid we just signed from Maryland is an absolute killer and could go high-4 or even 5 stars if he has a good senior year; he's just played only one year of football.
We are going to have to sign some good DT's on top of him...but considering we're about to put two of them in the first round (possibly in the Top-10!) of the draft and will almost certainly see Huggins drafted as well, I don't think there's going to be a shortage of applicants.
We're a little thin, but that's why Dabo and his staff get paid the big bucks, too. Stuff happens.
Rarely have I seen us have a gaping hole and Dabo and Co. have been unable to fill it with quality, especially given this much lead time.

I doubt we move the best DE in the country to DT. We recruited a great DT this year who committed, he only has 1 year under his belt and offered by every major college. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up a 5 star or a great Clemson player.

80 pound difference. Although XT is a big guy he would go against a guard not a tackle. He's strong and uses his speed as the difference, ends can rely on their speed but tackles go through the guards. XT would have to change his skill set completely where as a tackle can still use their strength to go through a tackle even easier although it's a transition to both I would say it's harder for an end to go to tackle.

Christian played under 300 a good bit of the time. Xavier is probably starting off at 265. He’s built and could definitely play in Wilkins’ spot.
