Why? BV practiced against him for 3 years. I think that would be a matchup that BV would win and win big.

to me it is obvious that he is a decent enough coach, but after he left we still improved. Dabo is the reason we were winning when Morris was here, not Morris. He had 1 year of college coaching experience when he cam to Clemson. He clearly only wanted to be here a couple of years, and said that openly.
We needed an OC that was all in, and that's what we got when Chad left, and that's why we started winning championships as soon as he left.
What he brought was a few new ideas from High School, but the newness was gone in a couple years.

...whomever we hired as our new HC wanted Chad as the OC. I would assume that for that person to hire Chad they would already have worked together in the past. I have no idea who we are gonna hire. And, I have no idea if any of the coaches being rumores as "leading candidates" (Stoops, Stoops, Norvell, Campbell) have any prior relationship with Chad.

No premiere team is going to want to touch him as HC. I doubt any power 5 will touch him as anything other than an OC. ECU might take him, or a team of that nature
