Squarely 70% of the people playing are from a foreign country , if watching on tv you cannot tell where the puck is half the time and for the love of Gordie Howe what in the heyall is icing ?

What's wrong with 70% of the people being foreign?

And if you can't tell where the puck is then just follow where the players are trying to kill each other...that's a good place to start looking.

Icing is when the defensive team hits the puck across the center line and opponent's goal line without it being touched. One exception is that a shorthanded team may legally ice the puck. Other exceptions include the instance of a goal, or when the referee determine that a player could have played the puck before it crosses the goal line. Icing results in a faceoff in the defending team's zone.

The NHL uses a variation of the rule called hybrid icing in which icing is automatically called if an opposing player reaches the faceoff dot in his defensive zone first. The referee must determine who touched the puck first in an instance when the puck is shot around the end boards, however.

Crawford was huge between the pipes tonight (and games 4 & 5). Coincidence all 3 went for wins? Big rebound from the Hawks first series against Nashville where things almost went off the rails. Well done sir!

Now, back to the celebration!
