We all have rights and that’s what separates America from most other countries. Many amazing people have fought and made the ultimate sacrifice to protect those rights. But using the phrase “respect my right” to make a poor decision is just a load of crap.

You'll notice that the support staff are all standing.
Do the players have more--gasp!--privilege than the help, both paid and unpaid? Are they using more leverage? Do they have greater grievances? Are they more sensitive? Socially responsible?
Or are they just more easily manipulated?
