Coot football team marks themselves safe during storm.

The Coot football team have marked themselves safe as now Tropical Storm Florence passes through the Palmetto State. Forecasters describe the storm as moving through the state at SEC speed. This marks the second straight week the Coots have had to mark themselves safe as fans worried over a missing offense. Of particular concern was QB Jake Bentley, who at age 28 would normally be a junior in high school but is now leading the Coot offense in his second season. Last week against Georgia, the Coot offense was noticeably absent. Onlookers who stayed until the fourth quarter...all of whom were dressed in red and black...said they saw slight signs of life. They were reassured when they learned the Coot offense was safely hunkered down in the bowels of Willy B. The news is not all good, though. Bentley's Heisman campaign is still missing and has not been heard from in weeks.
