Coot father in law didn't think it was funny when

I set the alarm on my phone to go off at 6:04 while we were opening presents. Told him it was set so I could have my daily laugh at precisely 56 to 7. He got kind of pissed when I set it to go off, again, at 7:56 when we were eating dessert.
He finally did chuckle, and said, "wait til next year".

They have been a year away most of my 65 year life. That won't change anytime soon, but I expect they may begin to say, "wait a few years, or maybe a few more decades". That seems more realistic.

Crap, I was at the family get together with two coot nephews (married to my two my sister's girls, so don't hold that against ME), plus two of their sons are coot fans, too, and I TOTALLY MISSED the opportunity to set my alarm to 6:04.... son of a ...... dang, this just ruined my WHOLE day.....
Oh well, when 'the rivalry' did come up, the one coot nephew remarked to the other nephew that "Well, the day is all about Jesus...." so I was pretty much stopped dead in my tracks, anyway....
... but still!....

They generally show-up at Christmas in their full regalia of new University of Second Choice gear.
This year, no Coot apparel of any kind and nary a word uttered about Lamecrock athletics...not even womens basketball or equestrian.
It was Eutopia.
