Ever. Ever. Win a national title with Jimbo at the helm.
Jimbo reminds me of Tommy Bowden. Good recruiting, little results. And he always manages to drop a game he shouldn't (NC State last year, Wake and Virginia in 2011).
Remember when we all thought that talent had to trump coaching eventually? Yeah, that's what FSU is hoping for. It won't happen. I'd honestly be scared of their program if they had a decent coach.

They're a very uninspired football team. Much like we were under Bowden.
Uninspired vs. NC State. Uninspired vs. Florida. Uninspired vs GT in the ACC title game. They even played uninspired in the Orange Bowl against NIU.

This is a good point. They may look great on paper. They make look great when you glance at their record, but on the field, they don't look like a truly great football team unless they're playing someone like Wake Forest. They have a few good games here and there but then play down to their competition other times.
You are correct in that it is very similar to Bowden's teams, just a little more productive.
