Conveniently enough the bracket is set where NO SEC team

May 30, 2016, 3:13 PM

can knock each other out. Only way that happens is they meet in Omaha. But The ACC has chances where they knock each other out.... Now I know the ACC has more bids and with that being said, the odds are out there.... I just found it " convenient " for the SEC.

it's always set up where #1 seed in same conference

cannot meet in the Super. Just so happens this year that all the SEC teams getting into the tourney are #1 seeds. No #1 ACC teams can play in the Supers. But teams like Duke, GT, etc can possibly because they are lower seeds. If Tennessee got in as a 3 seed, they could have easily come here and had the chance to matchup with the Cluckers in the Supers.

This is nothing new.

just read the ""rules"" and you are right -- it is set up so that no national seeds can meet till Omha !!! -- which is a good thing **
