Contacting an active coach.

I thought there was a rule about contacting another teams coach during the season. Something about needing permission for the school where the coach is at. Am I thinking right?

You talk to the agent not the coach. No rules broken

there is not rule. they do contact agent but that ....

is not a rule of the NCAA. They are all free agents if someone will pay the buyout.

i think that only applies to the NFL

Besides these things are done through agents so technically the coach isn't involved.

Not a rule, but it's the right thing to do. As stated earlier, unless the coach doesn't have an agent, and few don't, easiest thing to do is to contact the agent.
