ESPN College Football analysts Kevin Connors, Emmanuel Acho, Heather Dinich, and Jim Mora breakdown Week 14's biggest topics, discuss the upcoming conference championship games, and give you their takes on who they think will end up in the College Football Playoff.

At one point in the show, host Kevin Connors brings up the point "if we all agree that Clemson is the team that no one wants to play in that semifinal game, why aren't we talking about Clemson as the #1 team? And before you tell me that they haven't played anybody, they've got the best margin of victory among any team in any conference." I turned it off after Jim Mora said the SEC was, no doubt, the best conference in the country without question. Best players, best coaches, best teams.

Sure sounds like an objective opinion to me...

... because Clemson has played no one ... doesn’t mean they are not good, but you don’t get to be #1 by saying “well, if we did play someone ...”

This is why we have a playoff. Clemson has a chance to prove all critics wrong... critics just don’t have enough to go on. Margin of victory does not mean as much when you have not played a currently ranked team.
