We were fine in the playoff rankings last year even after beating Troy by 6, Auburn by 6, scoring only 3 points in the 2nd half against GT, and needing a short FG to be missed and overtime in order to beat NC State. If we're not in the top 4 on Tuesday it'll be because we lost to Syracuse, not because we clearly put teams away early and didn't run up the score on them.

Like last week the D had an off game and still held the Cuse under 30.
It's about time this O starts helping out a little

People get too bogged down on these ratings. Win out we will be in. We will have better wins than Penn St and big 12 teams.

First of all, the rankings that come out Tuesday are what matters.
Also, the CFP committee has shown in its first three years that they are smarter than any fan or sportswriter. They don't just look for blowouts. They know who the best teams are.
